Car and smart device makers increasingly want to deploy larger and larger AI models into devices for speech-language and sensor-signal processing but need ways to process these large models quickly, inexpensively in the race to capitalize on AI’s advances to turn smarter features into market share for device makers. ABR builds time-series AI processors (TSPs) that reduce AI cost, power and latency by using ABR’s AI compression method, called an LMU, which makes time-series AI models optimally small. Larger AI models are more powerful and more accurate AI models. Using less power lengthens battery life. Processing locally increases privacy and availability. Hosting AI processing in the cloud is expensive, requires connectivity, is slower and consumes more power than efficient edge processing. Our TSPs are 100x more efficient than CPUs and GPUs for time-series processing and can process larger AI’s than small edge processors, while using far less power and costing a few dollars.

https://www.baraja.com

Baraja is a deep technology company that has reinvented LiDAR for self-driving vehicles. Our Spectrum-ScanTM platform uses patented technology to set new benchmarks for precision, range and reliability.

The limitations of legacy LiDAR systems stem from a single design challenge: the ability to point a laser in a wide field-of-view. While traditional systems rely on fragile rotating lasers and oscillating mirrors, we simply refract light through a prism to scan the environment, with no-moving-parts in the fast axis. This unique method allows us to deliver unprecedented range, precision and reliability in even the most extreme environments - meaning pointcloud data you can trust.

With billions being spent to solve fully autonomous driving, we believe our technology is the most viable approach to producing the data needed to usher in the future of autonomous mobility.
